At Swiftech Software Testing Services Inc. (“Swiftech”, “us”, “we”, “our”), the protection of your personal and business information is very important to us. 1. About Us

Swiftech uses a strong background in software application and testing to proactively identify defects which could be a potential risk to businesses, and providing feasible mitigations. Swiftech offers a range of services including; test management consulting, software testing workshops, functional testing, test automations, defect and test data management, backend data testing, API testing and cloud testing and performance testing.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of the Last updated/reviewed date listed above.

Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies or websites which are not owned or controlled by Swiftech.

3. What Information is Collected?

We only collect Personal Information that is directly related to Swiftech and our services. Wherever possible, this information will be collected directly from you.

Swiftech will collect limited Personal Information from you, including your first and last name, address, phone number, email address, the subject of your inquiry, preferred means of communication, your interaction with our website and other information that you provide to us. 

What other information is collected?

Swiftech will limit the collection of information to what is reasonable and necessary for our purposes or as otherwise stated or implied at the time of collection. We will also collect information as is otherwise required by law.  

4. How Does Swiftech Collect my Personal Information?

Swiftech collects Personal Information through lawful and fair means.

We may collect this information in various ways, including through your interaction with our website and through your communication with us. Our web servers may also automatically collect non-Personal Information which is provided through your browser or stored on a cookie or other similar technology when you access the Site. These may collect information such as what site referred you to our Site, your browser type, operating system type and version, language and your Internet Protocol (IP) address. Access to Personal Information within Swiftech will be restricted to those individuals who need the information in order to carry out their job duties. Those individuals are trained and instructed to maintain the information in the strictest of confidence and will not provide access to the information to anyone who is not authorized. The level of access to Personal Information will be granted on a need-to-know basis.

All individuals we hire to conduct business on our behalf will be required to respect the provisions of this policy and our procedures. Violations of any part of the contractual agreement may result in termination of the contract.

6. How Will Your Information Be Used?

• for billing, record-keeping and other client contact and service matters;

By availing of the Services of Swiftech or submitting information to us in connection with using the Services or our website you hereby consent to the collection, use and storage of your Personal Information as set out in this policy. Subject to legal and contractual requirements, consent can be withdrawn at any time. Swiftech uses appropriate security measures to protect against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, use or modification of Personal Information.

In order to prevent unauthorized access to your Personal Information and to ensure your Personal Information is used and disclosed only pursuant to this Policy, employees with access to Personal Information are subject to confidentiality obligations and are trained to maintain physical and administrative safeguards to protect Personal Information collected.

Although we seek to protect against possible breaches of our security systems, no institution can fully eliminate the risks of unauthorized access, and no website is completely secure. In communicating with us, you should be aware that e-mail is not a fully secure medium.

9. Use of Service Providers  

We may work with other companies to provide services on our behalf, such as website hosting services, payment processing services and other services as required.  Those service providers will be permitted to obtain only the Personal Information they need to deliver the service in question, and we endeavour to work with service providers that maintain similar levels of privacy protection. You acknowledge and agree that Swiftech is not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-parties that provide services on our behalf.  

Your Personal Information may be used or stored by our service providers outside of Canada. While we endeavour to work with service providers that provide adequate protections for your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee their practices. Additionally, if your Personal Information is used or stored outside of Canada, it will also be subject to the laws of the country in which it is used or stored.

Swiftech may include likes to other websites on this site. Please note that these links are provided only as a convenience and Swiftech is not responsible for any collection, storage or processing of personal data transferred after following the links. The behaviour of third-parties is beyond the scope of our control and Swiftech is not responsible for information you share with third parties. Please refer to the privacy policies of those sites for more information on how the operators of those sites collect and use your Personal Information.

11. Access or Corrections/Changes to Personal Information

When providing services to you, it is important that the information collected is up to date and accurate. If there are any changes to your information, if there are any inaccuracies or if the information is incomplete, please contact connect@theswiftech.com to make the necessary changes.

Upon written request, we will inform an individual of the existence, use, and disclosure of their own Personal Information and give them reasonable access to that information. There will be no cost for reasonable requests unless it involves significant retrieval costs. You will be advised of any potential cost prior to retrieval. We will not respond to requests that are frivolous, vexatious, or repetitious. We may deny access for legally permissible reasons, if it contains references to other individuals, or where it cannot be disclosed for legal, security, or commercial proprietary reasons. We will advise the individual of any reason for denying an access request.

You also have the right to formally request access or correction to your Personal Information under PIPEDA. Swiftech will respond in accordance with PIPEDA.
